I have been blaming a lot of things on current events, but one of the more positive things (I guess?) is that all of a sudden, all I want to do is wear bright colors. Fashion can be a wonderful escape and if I am in a bad mood or feeling sad, I almost always reach for something colorful. It started with this post (and this dress really), and lately all I have been buying is color, color, and more color! It’s hard to be in a bad mood if you are wearing something bright and colorful. Everything in today’s collage is an instant mood-elevator. Insta-happy, insta-escape! There are so many fun, pretty things. At only $78, this dress is a major stand-out (and it comes in a pretty floral print too) and I cannot stop thinking about this Kate Spade floral bag. And of course, pom pom earrings. I have a few pairs and love ’em so much (see also, last night’s insta)! Also: how fun are these rainbow slides? I can’t stop thinking about them.

Yesterday I scooped up this dress, this top, and my favorite camisole (I wear the black one so much that I decided to finally get the white one). I probably won’t keep everything I got, but Caroline Constas is just… so good.

Honing in on the printed scarf here…would you do a post on how to pull of all the fun scarves/bandanas I’ve been seeing everywhere? I bought 2 of J.Crew’s bandanas and love all the looks I’ve been seeing, but want some real world fashion advice! You always do a great job of making trends look wearable, while still being cool and on point.
You know, I don’t think I’m the right person to ask for that. I typically just roll my scarves up very thin and knot loosely around my neck. It’s pretty simple, and then I’ll stick to a neckline that shows a little skin (like a v-neck or off-the-shoulder) Did you see this post on Gal Meets Glam?
