Gift Guide 2016: The Beauty Junkie.

Best Beauty Gifts 2016 - The Stripe Holiday Gift Guide

We all have a beauty junkie in our life. My photographer Lydia is one of those people who lives for Sephora shopping sprees. Every time we shoot, she has on a new lip color (she’s a big fan of Kat Von D). I give her products nearly every time I see her. When we traveled to Bermuda together her suitcase was chock-full of face masks (I picked up a few new favorites from her!) and she was truly horrified watching me apply my lipstick with my fingers. These gifts are for people like Lydia. Gifts for the true beauty junkie. I included the new Dyson Hair Dryer which I have not tried out yet but am dyyyying for (has anyone tried it??), my favorite orange blossom fragrance, this amazing set of organic face masks, and lots lots more. While I have you – this mascara is the absolute greatest. I started testing it two weeks ago and am completely and utterly obsessed… it leaves lashes curled, thicker, longer… the works.

I need a new set of face masks! I’m not really a makeup beauty person, but when it comes to skincare I’m very strict. Might try out the one in your gift guide.

I have the Dyson hairdryer! I received it as a gift. Honestly, I have been disappointed. I was previously using the Drybar dryer and don’t see much of a difference. The design is cool and it’s slightly quieter, but I don’t see much of a difference in drying time or sleekness. It’s a nice product, but I’m not sure it’s better than other ($100 – $200 cheaper) high end dryers…

Oh my gosh thank you for commenting!!! I was going to buy it and now I am not. I hate blowing out my own hair… I have the DreamDry dryer and it’s pretty good but everyone was raving about the Dyson. Thanks so much. 🙂
