25 Beautiful Summer Blouses

24 Beautiful Summer Blouses

I am on a never-ending pursuit to wear more separates (to be honest, I sometimes bore myself with all the dresses). Last summer, I got into easy pull-on shorts, and I’d wear those (or my favorite cut-offs) with a pretty blouse. A fun (but still pretty, feminine) alternative to wearing yet another smocked dress. Beyond my quest for great tops, I feel like my DMs are always full of top requests… be it date-night/going out tops, blouses for the office, etc. Today, I’ve put together a pretty big round-up of favorite blouses. I think they are all beautiful. Some are for work, some are for play.. I think you’ll like them all.

I’ve kept things breathable and lightweight, in pretty prints and colors, with varying necklines that will work in pretty much any situation. I’ve also listed the prices below each item so that there are no surprises (I am crushing so hard on that Silvia Tcherassi and apologize for including it, haha—hoping it goes on sale!).

Note: this is an update to an older post so the tops in the collage above are no longer available but I like 2025’s mix even better!

24 Beautiful Summer Blouses!

Long-Sleeved Summer Blouses

Cynthia Rowley Annabelle Long Sleeve Blouse: A gorgeous white blouse. I love the details at the neck and cuffs. This features a relaxed silhouette, making it perfect for tucking into wide-leg pants or a fitted pair of shorts.

Boden Sienna Linen Shirt: I love a linen shirt this time of year, and Boden makes a very good one. My preference is the green, but there are so many other beautiful colors too. The fit is perfect.

Tuckernuck Blue and White Gingham Seersucker Quinn Blouse: This is a perfect top. I love the way it fits the body. It has a nice shape to it without being fitted (I can’t stand being hot, I don’t like anything touching my skin this time of year!

Faux Linen Button Down: This is an Amazon gem, clocking in under $30. It’s super soft and easy to wear. I like that it’s not too oversized, and it really does feel like linen. Bonus points: it does not wrinkle as much as linen!

Rails Oversized Green Stripe Top: I love stripes and green, so naturally, I love this. This is the best oversized button-down, and I absolutely love the color combo. Pair it with a white tee underneath, or just do a few buttons.

Sold/Out Everything Shirt in White: This is the perfect button-down shirt. It’s nice and oversized and feels like a man’s shirt. Pair it with linen shorts and button just two or three buttons.

Vitamin A Linen Boyfriend Shirt: I love this shirt so much. It’s super oversized, so you can wear it as a pool coverup if you’d like!

Mango Printed Cotton Shirt: This blouse costs under $100 (just $70!) but looks designer. I love that it’s neutral (wearable!), but the print makes it feel super special.

Wearing the DVF top + the matching skirt!

Diane von Furstenberg Celia Top: This loud orange top is now on sale. It’s one of my favorites. I love the color combination so much, and I like that it’s ultra lightweight. It’s perfect for even the hottest and humid days.

Short-Sleeved Summer Blouses

Dôen Farley Top: I just got this top and it’s stunning. It’s lightweight for even the hottest days, and I love the neutral floral print. It goes with everything. I’ve been wearing mine with cut-offs. I should note that this style is a reader favorite and bestseller!

Ulla Johnson Ada Flutter Sleeve Top: The print on this one is stunning. Ulla Johnson does such a great job making statement prints that still feel very wearable.

Rails Portia Top: I love this fitted top. The tie-front details are very on-trend. It’s the perfect basic (but still special) everyday blouse.

Banana Republic Tie-Front Top: I can’t get enough of this one! I love the print, the pretty tie-front, everything. And I like the looser fit. Nothing can touch my skin on hot, sweaty Charleston days!

Easily one of my favorite summer purchases!

Loretta Caponi Matilde Top: I can’t get over how pretty this one is. It’s selling fast. So many beautiful details. More of a splurge price point, but something you’ll have forever! More sizes here! It’s available in red too!

this J.Crew lace-trim tank is a must. True wardrobe MVP.

Sleeveless Blouses for Summer

J.Crew Women’s Lace-Trim Squareneck Linen Tank Top: This breezy lace-trimmed tank is a must. I have been wearing mine nonstop. It is the perfect piece to layer or wear on its own.

Sanctuary Desert Tank: This tank is gorgeous; I love the neutral print. Pair it with denim, or go all out and spring for the matching pants! (I personally own this set and love it so much!).

Date Night Summer Blouses

Dôen Auguste Top: This is a very sexy top (without trying too hard). I’d pair it with a cute pair of patterned shorts, tuck it into a flowy maxi, or keep it simple with classic denim. You can’t go wrong with this shirt. It’s giving Anne Hathaway in The Idea of You. (If you know what I’m talking about, hers was Nili Lotan. This is the next best thing!).

Souer Fedora Blouse: Can you even with this print? I love it so much. It feels very special and chic; like wearing a painting!

Farm Rio Eyelet Top: This pretty little camisole wins the award for best details. The sort of piece you can throw on with anything from denim to a maxi skirt, truly, anything!

Silvia Tcherassi Belinda Blouse: This is a show-stopper! I would pair it with gingham shorts or kick flare pants. Bonus points: it’s finally on sale, though it is going fast.

left to right, my favorite vest tops!

The Best Vest Tops for Summer

Posse Emma Vest: This is one of my forever favorite styles. It pairs beautifully with a maxi skirt, pleated shorts, or denim. It’s timeless and easy and reminds me of Sofia Richie’s honeymoon style (still a favorite!)

Endless Rose Tailored Vest: This looks identical to Veronica Beard (this one!!!), at a much better ($120!) price. You can’t beat it!!! Wear it with a mini and platform heels.

ASTR Lace Vest Top: Oh this is gorgeous, I absolutely love it. The fit is classic, but the lace makes it a little sexy and cool. I’d wear it with cut-offs or a pretty (flowy!) maxi skirt. Use GRACEA15 for 15% off.

Posse High Neck Vest: Another great vest from Posse (this brand makes such fabulous elevated basics). I am a huge fan and love this color so much.

Madewell Striped Sweater Vest: This is the perfect casual summer top. I would undo a button or two, and pair it with linen shorts or denim. I love the painterly stripes.

It’s so hard to find good ones! The sourcing for this roundup took several hours!

I LOVE this roundup. I usually splurge every fall on a couple of beautiful blouses that I can wear with black pants to Holiday parties or with jeans to fun dinners out. They are so versatile and I feel I really get my money’s worth since it rarely gets super cold down here. I especially love blouses that you don’t have to tuck in–my changing, middle-age body appreciates the extra coverage, but I still feel elegant.

Love this roundup— thank you so much! Have you washed the Amazon “linen” shirt yet? That description is hand wash only — my kryptonite — so I’m hoping it can be machine washed.

THANK YOU FOR THIS!! I tried searching and cannot find the answer, but I am 100% confident you’ve said before – do you find Mille TTS or how do you size for tops and dresses in the brand?

I usually wear a small! I find their sizing to be similar to J.Crew / Madewell, which I typically size down in. I am a medium but it feels like vanity sizing is becoming more and more of a thing so wear a small in those brands!
