Today I am wearing a few of my most favorite things. You’ve seen the jeans, the pumps, and the bag of course, but this trench is new and has become an instant favorite. The lightweight canvas fabric is perfect for this weather, and I like that the color is a bit warmer than my Burberry trench.
I am off to Charleston today! I am so, so excited. My friend Deirdre and I decided that we would throw a joint birthday party. My best friend and I fly down this afternoon. We have a fun weekend ahead… but I’m especially excited for the party. We rented the oyster shed at Leon’s which is one of my favorite restaurants in Charleston.
This week was completely bananas. On Monday I was supposed to stay in and relax (I fell asleep on my couch at 5:30 until 7), and woke up to a spontaneous invite to Adele… I quickly threw myself together, dashed over to Madison Square Garden and experienced what was one of the best concerts I’ve seen in my entire life. Wednesday was my ASPCA fundraiser, and last night I went to Aladdin with my sister. I’m in Charleston until Monday and when I get back, it’s my 35th birthday. I’m not sure how that happened… I guess time flies when you are having fun (and this week has been especially fun!)
Whatever you are up to this weekend, I hope it’s great. Be sure to follow our Charleston adventures on Insta and Snapchat (grace.atwood)!

Love the tortoise details on the trench. I personally find that it’s more flattering to knot my trench coats at my waist as opposed to fully buttoning them up and buckling them, but that’s probably a matter of personal taste.
