And fashion week begins! Last night I attended a fun event atop the Gramercy Park Hotel (one of my favorite spots in the city) for CBS Watch Magazine… and today I’m going to the Lulu Frost preview + a fashion week kickoff party with Target & The Daily Front Row. I don’t typically cover much of fashion week with the exception of Snapchat (do you want me to do more coverage on the blog + insta??) but I do like to show you what I’m wearing… and this what I wore to last night’s event! I scooped up this dress at ASOS and just love it so much. It looks an awful lot like Self-Portrait, for a fraction of the price. Right now I’m really into midi/maxi silhouettes (they also help you to keep warm in this horrible cold!) and I’m glad to have added a new one to my closet.
On that note, ASOS has been doing a good job. While you have to dig (there is so much stuff on their site!), I always end up finding pieces that look much more expensive than they actually are. I’m loving this dramatic midi dress (a steal at $71!) and this black + white dress which looks like it could be a top + skirt set. And I just ordered this linen + crochet dress. It’s only $47 and there are just a few sizes left, but it is just so good! Bravo, ASOS!
We should also talk about Lisi Lerch! She stocks such an incredible array of tassel earrings. Mackenzie carries a great selection in her shop… I kinda want to collect them all. The yellow is my favorite though, it feels a little unexpected (and cheery, which is nice this time of year)!
