Artist Spotlight: Lisa Golightly

In case you missed the announcement last week, Stripes & Sequins has an amazing new contributor… my sister, Becca!  Her blog, (extra)ordinary wonders, is pretty much awesome… and she has an incredible eye for art + design.  Every week, she’ll be introducing us to a different artist… asking them 5 questions, and showcasing their amazing work.

Lisa Golightly is an artist living in Portland, Oregon.  She studied photography in college and her father was an abstract painter.  While she is known for her more figurative paintings, I love her series called ‘Floodline.’  These ethereal watery scenes feel like dreams.  Lisa has been kind enough to answer a few questions about herself and her work, so be sure to check out the full post after the break.

Where do you find your inspiration?
