As you know by now, Stripes & Sequins has an fab new contributor… my sister, Becca! Her blog, (extra)ordinary wonders, is pretty much awesome… and she has an incredible eye for art + design. Every week, she’ll be introducing us to a different artist… showcasing their amazing work. I truly love this column – and now, thanks to my sister, learn a little something new about art every week.
Caroline Wright is a painter whose work I really love. Her use of color really resonates with me. She studied Visual Art as well as Art History at Brown before moving to Paris and living in an art collective with other artists from around the world. This period of her life enabled her to see a life centered around art making. She is now back in her hometown of Austin creating artwork and engaging with the growing art community.
Last one is definitely my favourite.
Beautiful pieces!

These paintings are beautiful! I like Lines Ballet the best – the colors are a good mix of bold and soft.
Oh Very cool! This is the type of art I love and my husband hates. Boo… Thanks for the intro! xo Elizabeth
I need a Lines Ballet in my life!
What beautiful pieces! I love the last one!
I love colorful, soulful art like this. It can completely change the mood of a room.
Oh I am going to LOVE this series! I feel so detached from the art scene…I need this!
I love her work. I believe I have a couple of her pieces pinned 🙂 Such gorgeous color! XO brynn
I absolutely ADORE her work. So so pretty!
