The apartment is starting to come along. I’m a perfectionist so I probably will never feel totally “done,” but it is getting there. Most of the bigger purchases have been made and I’ve started working on the fun stuff. How darling is this little owl vase? I love that the flowers make him look like he’s wearing a little headdress. It’s been fun adding girly details and cute little touches to my space, and Lulu & Georgia has been one of my go-to’s as they have so many adorable things right now. Probably my favorite recent acquisition is this console table. It’s really nice to have a little space at the entrance of my apartment to stash my keys, bag, outgoing mail, etc. I’m definitely a lot more organized than I was before!
PS – Lulu & Georgia is generously offering all S&S readers 20% off! Just use code STRIPESSEQUINS20. Happy shopping!
{my Elephant Book Ends add a cheeky touch to my desk.}
{The space is still a work in progress… I need to add a mirror, some bins down below, and a few more personal touches… but regardless, I love my console table so so much!}
{And how cute is this lucky little wine stopper? It’s from Lulu & Georgia’s new gift shop.. I love it and like to think that using it – aka drinking wine – will bring me some good luck.}
Disclosure: Lulu & Georgia gifted me the products featured in this post. I was not otherwise compensated.

Love the owl vase and the console table!! Looks amazing!! I also noticed that you have Emily Liebert’s book “You Knew Me When” on the table — I read it in 2 nights and LOVED it!! My blog is having a book club discussion of it on November 6th. I’d love it if you join us: http://www.likestosmile.com/2013/10/04/smiling-over-book-club-selection-4/

Love the table! I noticed you have “Wild” by Cheryl Strayed – just finished reading it and could not put it down. Maybe a post with other book recomendations soon please? 🙂
you got it! I was waiting til I have one or more to add to my list but I have a good list going 😉
I know what you mean about it never feeling “done.” Thankfully, our homes can be as ever evolving as we are. 🙂 Great start so far!
Ahh I love the owl vase! Super cute!!

I like the white elements. I’ve got a 4×4 canvas I’ve been trying to work on, but couldn’t decide what I wanted to do. I like the white canvas w/ just words on it. I may have to go that route. Either that, or it’s white flowers attached to the canvas. Decisions, decisions…
Oh, and as far as under the console, I ordered large wooden crates from Home Depot (they deliver) and painted them in a Tiffany blue. I keep all of my day to day shoes in there. Every time I look at it, it makes me happy because it just adds so much color and life to the room.
Love the owl!
perfection, grace! i’m moving in, k?
Your apartment is looking great Grace… I LOVE that entryway table!
