This was such a busy week! It’s always a little bit crazy coming back from vacation but this week felt ultra hectic. We have been hard at work on podcast stuff (currently setting up a 5 city tour – more on that to come!) and recording, I filmed a #makemysize video with my friend Katie (it’s really eye opening!!), and of course… lots of tax stuff. I have had a lot of meetings and fun stuff during the work days but then would be up super late getting through emails and writing my blog posts (as I write this it’s Thursday night at 11pm which I HATE – I’m usually ahead of schedule and try not to work this late). I need to spend a chunk of this weekend working to make sure next week isn’t like this one.
This morning I have a meeting with a potential network for the podcast, a few afternoon calls, and then more podcast recording tonight. Next week I am going to LA for two days (it’s the Sephora Squad kick off, YAY). But I don’t have any other travel planned with the exception of our upcoming mini podcast tour which we’ll hopefully be able to announce next week. I ended up cancelling that trip to Mallorca this week as I realized that with our live shows and regular work and podcast stuff I was just going to be too stressed out and wouldn’t enjoy it.
It was a bummer but taking a vacation should be FUN, not stressful!
I am juggling a lot right now. And it feels a little bit like the BaubleBar days where I had my day job and then was blogging at night. But I’m really just thankful for all the exciting stuff that’s happening, so I can’t complain!
This outfit is very me and a combination I wear all the time. I love these jeans; they were in my Stitchfix box a month or two ago. But sadly Joe’s only carries up to a size 34. When Katie and I did our video, we both had a lot of luck with Universal Standard (the jeans fit BOTH of us really well) so I would also recommend these; which also happen to be under $100! We both agreed that the Universal Standard store in Soho was really nice. Also, beautifully designed and a really, really nice shopping experience.
Whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s great – TGIF and happy WEEKEND! xo
Topshop Trench (two years old – similar options here and here. This one comes in a size 0-28 and is so cute, and there is an under $100 option here) // Floral Camisole from my Stitchfix Box. Use this link to get $25 off your first fix but also, similar + plus version // Joe’s Jeans (exact: style is called Milla and they are the perfect no nonsense everyday basic jean. Unfortunately, Joe’s only goes up to a 34… this pair from Universal Standard is similar and goes up to a size 00-40!) // Sarah Flint Perfect Pumps // Chanel Purse // J.Crew Tortoise Belt (old but try this!) // Polaroid Sunglasses (sold out but similar) // Daisy Jewelry x Estee Lalonde necklace

Cute look, Grace! Nice to see you up and about. I really like the colour of your jacket, it’s so unique! 🙂

Gorgeous outfit, I love the pattern on the blouse. And don’t be bummed out because of the canceled trip, you can take it some other time and save it for a time when you’ll be more stressed out and in a bigger need for a vacation.
Thank you Marta!!!
This outfit IS very you and such perfection! Hope you have a great weekend despite the work. Just have to say I love your blog and the podcast.
Aw thank you!!! So kind of you to say!
