Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was the perfect mix of being out and about and having downtime at home. I am embarrassed to tell you how many Gossip Girl reruns I watched (and I’m also slightly embarrassed about how many times I ordered takeout), so we won’t talk about that. This jumpsuit is sort of just the best. It comes in white as well which would be so pretty for a bride to wear to her bachelorette party or shower. We’ve talked before about my quest to find the perfect jumpsuit (why is it so hard!?) and it goes back to choosing something a little structured, like this. Nipped in the waist, a slightly thicker fabric, clean lines.
I hope you guys have a great week. I have just a few fashion week things this week and am looking forward to spending time at home, cooking, laying off the booze, getting to the gym, and just being a bit more healthy. No more takeout!
As an aside, so many years later it will always feel weird to hit schedule on a blog post and even talk about fashion today. Seeing the date “September 11th” will always be haunting. I hope you can find a few moments today to pause and think about/pray for/whatever you do the victims and their families.

I really like the cutting of the jumpsuit. Gorgeous blue colour, too.

You look gorgeous!
aw thanks friend! xoxo
That’s a gorgeous jumpsuit! I wouldn’t see myself wear it but it looks amazing on you!
thank you Marta! Hope you have a great week ahead!
I remember my sister ( the architect) calling me from NY ( it was only 7-7:30am) waking me up and telling what was happening. She understood the construction of the building, she knew it would fall. It was difficult to grasp the horror of it. I went to work later, our guests were desperate to get home. The Concierges in the city were a fully orchestrated response team as we offered emotional support, while keeeping up with availability for flights, rental cars, buses, trains and even private planes. I flew to NY a few days later to be with my sister and her family. My brother in law described the devastation as he walked from uptown home. I’ll always remember the remarkable courage of the rescue teams and citizens that endured through it all. Sorry, went deep there. I love your jumpsuit! It looks gorgeous on you.
aw thank you for sharing your experience, cy! xo
The article you shared about Gossip Girl a few weeks ago also prompted me to fire up the Netflix and do some binge watching. Between Friday night and Sunday night I think I got through 12 eiposides or so. My darling cat was thrilled that I was camped out on the couch for hours at a time, he did a great job keeping my lap warm (I had to turn the a/c up to compensate).
I love that!! It’s such a great show. Tyrion felt the same as your cat – he was psyched to have some time to chill out. 🙂
Beautiful, classy and impressive looking as always! 9/11 is something a whole world should never forget…
