Fact: I love to snack. Love it. (Live for it?) I’d rather eat several smaller meals and snacks throughout the day than three big meals. Alas, finding healthy + yummy snacks can be tricky (especially when you work at a place like BaubleBar… we literally have candy dispensers on the walls, Bagel Mondays, and temptations like Doritos and Cheetos stocking the cabinets of our kitchen.) Oof. Delicious but so unhealthy.

Anyway. A while back, my friend Julia started working for Nourish Snacks and she got me turned on to the brand (it wasn’t very hard – the snacks are SO yummy!) Julia’s always been an inspiration to me in terms of health and fitness. Her husband is a personal trainer and the two of them are basically the picture of great health.

But yes. Snacks. Thanks to Julia, I am completely hooked on Nourish. Basically, there is nothing bad in them. (No GMO’s, no dairy or gluten, 100% natural ingredients… and always under 200 calories.) And – they’re so convenient. I don’t have time to cut up fresh veggies + fruits or portion out nuts before work, so these are great. My personal favorites from them are anything with roasted corn. (Right now, Cowboy Crunch is my absolute fave — crunchy kernels with BBQ spices.. yum! King Korn and Mr. Popular are also really really good.)

I snack less on my work from home days, but I really like that the pouches are perfectly portioned out so that I don’t accidentally overdo it. I’ll pour the contents of a pouch into a pretty bowl and munch on them throughout the day. If I’m on the go or at work, I always have at least two flavors in my purse… one savory, one sweet (for sweet, I really love the Almond to Cherries flavor — roasted almonds and tart, dried cherries.) That way, if a craving hits I don’t end up reaching for a bagel or cookie. Also – a random tip: Mr. Popular is great at the movies!

It’s just really nice having a snack that you know isn’t going to ruin your healthier habits. I’ve been working out a lot and trying to eat more healthfully, but I still want to snack. Since discovering Nourish, I rarely reach for candy or processed snacks… something my skin – and waistline are both very thankful for.
