Blush Lace Dress.

Happy Monday, friends! What a weekend! To be honest, I’ve been a bit of a recluse getting all of my apartment things in order. I got so much done. My body hurts and I feel about eighty years old. But it has been so worth it – I’m really happy with how the space is coming along. Yesterday I gave myself a break… I spent the morning tidying up and then went to the park with a big group of friends. They packed a feast (pasta salad, fried chicken, even a grilled pork loin) and we sat in the sun and ate and drank rosé + mimosas. It was a pretty perfect Easter, and also such a beautiful day – our first real, sunny day in New York.

You know by now that I love a good lace dress, and a blush pink one at that! This dress is already a favorite in my closet – it is just so pretty! I have been a big fan of Alexis for some time now and just love their designs. They do such a great job with texture and lace… this is my first piece. I will say that their dresses run really small, or at least this one does! I am usually a size 6  or a medium, and bought a large. And I gotta say… the large is tight.. especially around the bust/rib cage! So be forewarned… but I don’t mind sizing up as it really is just the prettiest dress. I am helping to host a fundraiser with 100cameras (if you are in NYC, come!!!) next month and right now this is the top contender for what I will wear.

  10. Hi dear! Thank you so much for your comment regarding the size of the Alexis dress. I’m just about to buy it and was really confused about the sizes as tehy seemed so small. I get a medium! Big hug, you look fantastic! /sofia in Switzerland
