You know those people who wear variations of the same 5 outfits every week, and then when they go on vacation, they pack everything they’ve ever purchased because… why not!? Well, I am one of those people.
I think it’s something to do with the idea that when you are on vacation, you will have limitless time & opportunity to wear that party top you’ve been meaning to wear or those shoes you just haven’t quite broken in yet… and then you arrive at your destination and realize that you’ve made a huge mistake.
Here are some easy solutions for the shameless over-packer:
- Pack things you’d wear every day, but keep them fun & comfortable. Like this vacation sweatshirt. Perfect for the plane/car ride!
- Stick with dresses that are easy to throw on and wear to anything (from sightseeing to dinner reservations). This eyelet dress is so beautiful (and affordable!) and would be perfect
- Choose one color palate so that you can mix & match your limited wardrobe. I’m opting for blues & whites here… classic!
