Depending on where you live, you may be facing rain and thunderstorms this week like we are here in NYC. Clearly, I’ve been craving warmer weather for weeks, but I’ve always found those late spring rainstorms kind of nice in their own right.
The only tricky part? Dressing for them. It’s not supposed to be cold, per se, but it will be wet. I think that the most important purchases in this situation are 1) a trench coat and 2) shoes that keep your feet dry. Today I’ve rounded up a bunch of under $100 picks that will help you balance those warmer temps with anything from a light drizzle to a heavy downpour.
For that light drizzle, don’t be afraid to show some leg with your boots! That humidity can make things so hot & sticky, and pants can seem like the worst idea. And when it starts to really pour, switch to jeans and wellies (and be sure to try my favorite anti-frizz hair oil to reduce that dreaded rain-related pouf).
Stay dry this week!
