This past weekend I (finally) got my hair cut and colored. After my cut, I asked my stylist for a piece-y blow-out that was still sleek + smooth. (My hair tends to get really big if I’m not careful, so I always emphasize that sleek part.) Much to my surprise, he proceeded to douse my hair in their new thickening spray. (He also used this shine serum which I love as it is silicone-free.) I was confused/nervous as to why he’d use something meant to thicken the hair shaft on my already monstrous mane, so I asked. He explained that thickening spray is actually great on all hair types. It adds texture, prevents breakage (great for highlighted/dry hair like mine) and gives that perfectly messy, not trying to hard kind of vibe. Who woulda thought?
I’ve also taken to spraying dry hair with it… (I also love this one on dry hair… it smells amazing!)
It sounds really good! I would have been confused as to why he was using a thickening product as well, ha!
I’m still afraid of thickening spray. I have the thickest hair known to man…..or woman. It’s chin length and takes like 45 min just to flat iron, even after I blow dry it straight.
oh how I wish I had thick hair. But these look amazing
Wow. That’s surprising to me too! I’ll have to check this stuff out!
