A Pretty {Affordable!} Party Dress.

dress // sunglasses // bag // heels

I have said this before but I’ve been shopping a lot less this year, especially when it comes to dresses. I have accumulated so many over the years and have come to the realization that my life is just really not all that fabulous. I’m saying this as a good thing… I am a homebody and if I’m not being a homebody I am outside being active. It’s shorts and a tee ninety percent of the time. And I mean, right now I’m running around Cuba in cutoffs or yoga gear on my retreat (haha!) so I’m guessing (as I schedule this post ahead of time) that I probably look nothing like this today. BUT it’s fun to have a few good dresses in your arsenal for when something fabulous does come up, and this one is a favorite. It’s also pretty affordable and looks way more expensive than it’s $128 price tag! This designer has so many great pieces… I also really love this off the shoulder one, this gingham one, and this pretty floral wrap. Oh and this tropical one too – it’s such a great print!

{I’ve said it before that shopping at Revolve can be intimidating – hopefully it helps to see their dresses on a regular person. Sizing is true to size/in between but if you’re unsure, size up! I got a medium in this one and am glad I did as it was a bit snug through the rib cage.}

Outfit Details: Bardot Dress (also here + here) // YSL Bag (mine is super old but I still wear it alllll the time – sad that the brand stopped making the style. You can buy pre-owned ones here, here, and here) // Manolo Blahnik Heels // Julie Vos Bangles // Celine Sunglasses // BaubleBar Sequin Earrings

Oh how I love these BaubleBar Sequin Earrings – they’re the sort of earrings I get stopped on the street and asked about. They make such a statement and they aren’t very heavy!

    I know what you mean by being a homebody – I find that most bloggers are! Tshirts and shorts all the way! 😀

      Hahahaah right? I feel like they’d probably have better sales if they used models that were just slightly less sexy! 😉
