I’ve been having a bit of a frustration with my wardrobe lately. A closet full of clothes, never anything to wear. I wear the same thing every day – skinny jeans, a striped tee, a statement necklace, and ballet flats or knee high boots. It’s a good recipe, but too much of even the best things can be, well, too much.
I decided that it was time for a new pair of jeans. And so, we went to the 7 for All Mankind store.
I tried on 10, maybe 15 pairs, while the boyfriend sat, patiently, providing feedback and assessing how my derriere looked in each pair. (I know – the man should be sainted. BUT, he did volunteer to come along for the mission.)
I tried them all – skinny, flared, boot cut, (even the super flared high-waisted ones, just for fun.)
And we made a discovery. A HUGE discovery. Flares and boot-cuts just look better. So much more flattering. It probably should have seemed intuitive, but I’ve been wearing skinnies for so long now that I forgot how much better my legs look in a flared or boot cut jean.
Meet my new jeans. They are amazing. Super leg-lengthening, super flattering. You can grab a pair here – I highly recommend them. (And so does the boyfriend)
