A {Cozy} Upgrade.

wrap // tank // slim pants

Please tell me I’m not the only one who has super embarrassing, ratty old sweats + tees. Pieces that live at the bottom of your pajama drawer but also make you so happy when you just want to be comfy? For me it’s a pair of sweats that I have literally actually patched up holes in, and a Bentley College tee from when I first started there (I graduated in 2003 so… it’sΒ old.)

It’s fine to hold onto those old relics, but… they’re not exactly fit for having anyone over. I’m a pretty big homebody and I work from home and love to entertain (Game of Thrones night!!)… so I’m a big fan of comfy, cute loungewear… an upgrade was in order! Something stylish.. but still cozy and warm when the AC is cranked up!

Enter Cuddl Duds, (available at QVC). Yes it’s a funny name but that’s exactly what they are… comfy cozy, ultra soft pieces you’ll just want to snuggle up and cuddle in. They’re lightweight, perfect for layering, and so, so soft… and both the wrap + leggings are smooth on the outside and brushed on the inside for the feel of your favorite cozy sweats!

Outfit Details:Β Cuddl Duds Wrap, Tank, and Slim Pants (note: the line runs a bit big… I’m wearing a small and the fit is pretty relaxed!)

My personal favorite is the Comfortwear Wrap – it’s made from ultra cozy French Terry and brushed on the inside so it feels like your favorite sweatshirt – with the drape and style of something you could also wear outside the house.

I’m all about a good multi-tasker, and the wrap is just that – it transitions perfectly from home to errands Β when paired with jeans and slip on sneaks. Perfect for a chilly evening walk or running errands/grabbing groceries.

  1. It’s not only you who has a collection of ratty old t-shirts. I tend to lounge around home in my old university tees too! (The fleece I wear at home is from primary school, actually… LOL)

I told myself years ago that I was not going to dress in rags at home or anywhere else. If it’s stained or torn and cannot be mended, I get rid of it. Life is too short to slop around, even at home alone.

I love these comfy pieces. This reminds me of a great sweater from Sam’s I need to pick up! Love seeing your apartment.

    • I love this mentality! Life really is too short to be sloppy even when you are all by yourself. Have a great weekend, Cathleen! xx

I love your chair! I love my cozy clothes. The first thing I do when I step in the door is take my shoes off and change into my cozies. It’s psychologically transporting too, as you are shedding your work day to transition to home time. Not wearing shoes in the house keeps your home cleaner and healthier too. I have slippers for when guests com over. I can’t wait to order some of these. So affordable too!
