As the temperatures cool down, I am living in cozy basics. This outfit is a favorite right now. My friend Kat got me into L’Agence jeans (they are so flattering and INCREDIBLY comfortable), and this cardigan is perfect whenever I get a little bit chilly. And I would be remiss to not point out these boots – they’re exactly what I was looking for as they’re slightly Western inspired but still very city appropriate. (They’ll be so cute with leather leggings too.) And maybe the best part? Everything I’m wearing right now is on sale.
Nordstrom is having their Fall Sale right now (through 11/18) and there are tons of great deals to be had – get up to 40% off! Scroll a bit for even more sale picks… happy shopping! And if you haven’t shopped at Nordstrom recently, I encourage you to take a look. They are one of my absolute favorite places to shop. They carry all of my favorite designers (high + low). Also, they have an amazing (fast!!!) return policy, and the customer service team is always so helpful. You can even reserve something online and then try it on in store.

Keeping in line with cozy basics, I wanted to only show you great basics this time around. So you’ll probably recognize a few things from previous posts! I have and LOVE the single button version of this red coat from last year (see it on the blog here), I have and love this fleece (bought it for my mom, too!), and I have this cashmere sweater in several colors – it’s the perfect length to wear with leather leggings + skinny pants. And this puffer coat looks so much like my Canada Goose jacket – warm and cozy and perfect for New York winters. It comes in so many colors but I love the green best.
