What a weekend! It started on Friday evening with dinner with Kristin of Bon Bon Rose Girls and Amy of Midtown Girl. I (gasp!) forgot to take pictures but we had delicious tapas at Alcala in Midtown. From there, we headed down to Blogger’s Night Out at Pranna.
I was so impressed with how well Blogger’s Night Out turned out. It was pulled together in a month’s time and over 400 bloggers turned out. (The giftbag was also awesome – we received the entire Zoya Smoke Collection.) Major props to Caitlin, Marissa, Kendall, Lynzy, Erika, and Christine for pulling together such an amazing night!
We also hung out with Tara of Wonder Girl, Megan of Wit & Whimsy, Alicia of Cheetah is the New Black, and several other amazing bloggers – I know I’m leaving someone out, so I apologize! (If I left you out, let me know and I’ll adjust the post.)
On Saturday, I took it easy for the most part. Went to yoga, lunched at Craft with a good friend, and looked in on another good friend’s (adorable but diabolical cat.)
Walking home from lunch, I was super excited to see that Dry Bar is opening up next Friday – and just two blocks away from my apartment! I’ve heard such amazing things from my West Coast friends – so I can’t wait to try it out.
Then it was off to a blogger dinner at Sarabeth’s Tribeca. I had some incredible shrimp risotto (pictured above.) There were 10 of us. Sarah of Musings in Femininity, Christine of Court & Hudson, Taylor of Glitter Guide and Sterling Style, Caitlin of Style Within Reach and Glitter Guide, Kim of Eat.Sleep.Wear, Marissa of Style Cusp, Jessie of Concrete Catwalk, Eliot (also known as @CoachBlkrWomen,) and Katy from Sugarlaws. We ended the night at a wine bar in Tribeca.
Yesterday, I spent most of the day in my pajamas, unpacking, cleaning, working on blog posts… and this DIY (just in case you missed it.)
I gave myself a fun (and super easy, thanks to Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Glitz Blitz) sparkly manicure (pictured above.) Then it was off to Empellon for dinner with Honestly WTF, I Spy DIY, Eat Sleep Wear, Keiko Lynn, and Vanessa from Coach.
I ate these delicious tempura fish tacos – amazing. (Needless to say, if you made it through the above, I hit the gym pretty hard this morning.)
