BADER
Obviously, if you are in need of it, more Augustinus Bader. I love The Rich Cream so so much but it costs a pretty penny. 20% off is as good as it gets. I just ordered a fresh bottle during the Violet Grey sale but I will say that it’s not going to go on sale for a while (Sephora and Violet Grey won’t have sales again until November so if you are even just a little low, GO GET IT.
NEW TO ME FINDS
I always place a big order at my fav beauty retailers to try new things in advance of the sales. Testing new products is definitely one of my favorite parts of the job. This body serum is pricy but LUXE. I love it under the Bum Bum Cream for extra hydration and exfoliation. This lip plumper definitely works but without the sting, plus. it makes for a really pretty gloss. And I’m loving this brow gel, which doubles as a growth serum!
FRAGRANCES
Vanilla everything is the name of the game for me lately. This Vanilla Milk fragrance from Ellis Brooklyn has become an instant favorite of mine. It smells good enough to eat but not too sweet. I also just started wearing Heretic’s Dirty Vanilla perfume and love it – it’s a mix of vanilla and bourbon notes… yum! I also have this Diptyque Vanilla candle burning right now (recommended by a reader) and love it so much. And I like that it’s slightly spicy!
MASCARA
This Chantecaille mascara is ridiculously expensive but it’s truly incredible. It helps your lashes to grow longer (thanks, Peptides!) and works better than any other mascara I’ve tried. This is one of those ridiculous purchases but everyone I know who has tried it agrees. (Speaking of Chantecaille: love their buildable metallic eye shadows: cheetah and lion especially)
