In a perfect world, I’d have a capsule wardrobe where everything I own goes together perfectly. I really do love the idea of a more pared down wardrobe, where everything easily mixes + matches (and getting ready in the morning is a piece of cake). Alas, I’m a work in progress on that front.
I’m trying, though! Here to help is Keaton Row. If you aren’t familiar, Keaton Row is the premier online personal styling service. I learned about them ages ago when I worked at BaubleBar and love what they are doing. The concept is pretty brilliant. First, you fill out a style profile with your preferences. Then, you are paired with a stylist. From there, you can shop personalized looks – each season, your stylist will send you (shoppable) head-to-toe looks. And as you purchase more clothing, each piece is saved in a virtual wardrobe, for your stylist to put together new looks for you.
Outfit Details: Dress (I belted it) // Loeffler Randall Bag // Schutz Flats // Lele Sadoughi Earrings (all c/o Keaton Row)
InStyle’s new Capsule Collection with Keaton Row is pretty fantastic. They invited me to style a look and it was hard to choose as I loved so many things! They carry a wide range of styles from my favorite designers (hello, Loeffler Randall, Lele Sadoughi!) Also, they have a great range of price points. My dress was less expensive, whereas my little mini Loeffler Randall bag would be more of a splurge.
This service is perfect for anyone who struggles with putting things together.
It’s funny (and timely), as I was literally just talking to my sister about this while we are in Charleston. She’s one of those people who always looks cute, but she usually sticks to jeans and a tee or a simple dress as she has a harder time putting “outfits” together. One night at dinner, I paired a crop top with a high-waisted skirt and she commented at how she wished she were better at putting together separates. Keaton Row would be absolutely perfect for her… I’m making her sign up! You can sign up here to get matched with your own stylist… they’ll help you shop the InStyle Spring Capsule Collection. Plus, with any purchase from the collection – you qualify for a full-season of one-on-one styling to build out your perfect spring/summer look.

I know the feeling about *pulling outfits* together. I think it’s more difficult as well when you live in a country with an everchanging climate!!
I am so glad to know about this service! I love that it saves your buying history so that they can match new purchases with it – so cool. You look so pretty! I love the pattern on that dress.
Interesting concept! Thanks for sharing! Love those shoes.

Um, this sounds perfect for me! I’m kind of terrible at mixing and matching things. It always seems to be just shirt + pants (usually jeans). I have a lot of clothes but I could use some help mixing and matching them. Definitely going to check this out!
Very relatable story with your sister though. I felt like that more back in the day. I still feel like that sometimes but I find scouring Pinterest helps me because I’m more visual. And also, sticking to the colours I’m actually most comfortable with too rather than picking colours I think I should wear. For example, I gravitate towards grey, camel, white, navy, and black. So I start there rather than thinking, “Do I not wear enough colour?” DO ME GIRL.
