Thank you to Tamara Mellon and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post!
Today we are talking about a new to me shoe brand fav: Tamara Mellon. Honestly, I have been a fan of hers for a long time but had never owned a pair of shoes from her before. Well, technically I do. Prior to launching her own line, she founded Jimmy Choo and I do have a few pairs of those. I really loved the look of her shoes but in all honesty thought they would be too high for me. I just won’t buy shoes that are over 3, 3.5 inches max these days (though I can’t wait to try their CBD stiletto cream!)! Turns out, she actually has a lot of really cute lower heels… great flats, too! These new fav shoes are the perfect blend of luxurious and comfortable and I absolutely love both pairs.
Things To Love About My New Fav Shoes
A few things I love about this brand: the shoes are made in the same factories as other luxury designers, the brand offers complimentary cobbler service for two years of shoe care after purchase, and the fit is perfection (I found them to be true to size but they have an online Fit Quiz which makes it easy to find your size based on other brands you wear).
PS – when you sign up for their emails they’ll give you a coupon for $50 off your first purchase!
Let’s talk about the two styles of these new fav shoes I was gifted. Tamara Mellon has a lot of more colorful statement shoes but I went with two classic styles.
one // The Liaison Slingbacks:
These are your perfect everyday slingbacks. They’re super comfortable and would be great for the office but also great for a date (they also come in beige and red suede – I want the red ones next!!) With a 2.17″ (55mm) block heel, they are incredibly manageable and very comfortable. I can wear these all day from morning meetings and walking to the subway to drinks or a party afterward.
two // The Frontline Sandal:
If Tamara Mellon has become famous for a style it’s probably the Frontline! The Frontline is a simple, elegant strappy sandal made from Nappa leather with clear PVC inserts set within the strap that give it this cool illusion. I’d had my eye on a pair of these… teetering between the 75mm (2.95″) heel and the flats and went with the heel as I needed a new pair of nude strappy sandals. I absolutely love them – they are so chic! (For something higher they have a 105mm – stunning but just too tall for me!) Again, I went with nude as I needed a new nude strappy sandal BUT they also have black, white, metallics, red… tons of other fun options!
