If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that last week I hosted a dinner party with Le Creuset. This was a huge honor as I love to entertain and am such a massive, massive fan of the brand. The brand has been around for over 90 years and their cookware (especially their enameled cast iron) is hands down, the best. Also, as a lover of all things design, their color assortment is AMAZING. I love the shop by color feature; and I love that their cookware comes in SO MANY (24!) beautiful colors!
Le Creuset most recently launched a few new colors (including merengue and berry) and I was just smitten by the berry in particular. It’s SO ME. It’s perfectly fun and feminine (but not too too girly) and complements my apartment decor perfectly. We filmed a little video (embedded below) and had the absolute best time. I should add that the cookware is so pretty that (despite being a neat freak), I leave it out on my stove because I just love the color so much.
Particularly, I love the mini cocottes… they’re perfect for making anything from individual casseroles to mac & cheese to hot brownie sundaes!
My Dinner Party with Le Creuset!
I love this brand’s commitment to quality. Each piece of Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron is cast individually in sand molds and then hand inspected by French artisans. They’re so durable; designed to be used in the oven or on the stove and then (because they’re so beautiful and will enhance rather than detract from your table scape!), transitioned to the table for serving!
The enamel is chip-resistant and gorgeous, and the pieces have superior heat retention capabilities that keep foods warm, moist, and tender for longer! There is nothing better if you ask me.
The Menu:
- Roast Chicken (I will be honest, I bought two pre-cooked chickens and heated them up).
- Individual mac & cheese, served in Le Creuset’s mini cocottes. I used this recipe and it turned out AMAZING.
- Mashed Potatoes
- Brussels Sprouts
- Grilled Asparagus
- A big green salad to help counteract all that cheese!

Oh gosh, everything looks so pretty! Iβm a huge fan of Le Creuset and always browse their shops when I see one. I wish the prices were more affordable for me! Maybe later on in life! π

Thanks Lisa!
Looks like a great party and LOVE the berry color! I have a set in the bisque color before the handles were big enough for hot pads or the oven mitts – maybe I should invest in a new color and pass my old ones on to someone else hmmmmmm π
Hahahah the new colors could be just the perfect excuse! π
What a fabulous group! This looked like so much fun on Instagram, and I love these pictures! The Le Creuset dutch oven is a kitchen must-have as far as I’m concerned. Everything is so well made, and comes in so many fun colors! And if you put it on a low shelf, it’s like weightlifting when you use it π
xx
Sam
It was so much fun! And you’re right about weight lifting, haha!!! Thanks Sam, I hope you have a great week!
Le Creuset is the best. I have four pieces; a 2 quart in charcoal grey, a vintage 3 1/2 qt in white, a round griddle in light yellow ( sunflower? ) and a 6 quart braiser in Dune I use for diner parties, itβs great for paella. Itβs a work out to lift, but they are beautiful investment pieces that last forever ! I love the berry color, but alas I have no more room in my kitchen. Iβm always ogling the cocottes, they are so cute!
Ah wow Cy, your collection sounds amazing!!! They really do last forever. I would love to add some sunflower and emerald green to my collection down the road! The cocottes are the CUTEST!
Those cocottes are the cutest things I have ever seen. We have one piece of Le Creuset and I let my husband talk me into black. How boring is that??? I am still annoyed at myself years later.
Haha! Maybe it’s time to upgrade to a few new colors! π
Love the video, Grace! Makes me want to host a dinner party of my own with those adorable Le Creuset minis!

Aw thanks so much Ashlee!!! You should!
I recently bought the small Dutch oven, small sauce pan and skillet in pink. It was hard to get this color. Department stores don’t stock most colors so I made my color choice on line and waited weeks for the small sauce pan. My pots look great! Do keep in mind that this cook ware is heavy. I’m shopping for an open cabinet to display my pots in.
Worth the wait!!! I keep mine out as I love how they look!
Oh what a fun party! The pink color’s so pretty and perfect for Summer!

Hi,
Love this blog! Just found it π
Can I please ask, in the picture where you are holding the pink pot and smiling into the camera…. what size is that pot? Is it the 2qt?
I want one exactly the size of the one in your picture π
Thank you
I linked to the exact one in the blog post π
