Weekend Reading.

Happy Weekend. I am in Charleston with my parents! (Trying to convince them to move here, ha ha.) This week was busy but also a lot of fun. On Wednesday I got to see an advanced screening of Amy Schumer’s movie, I Feel Pretty… on Thursday, I attended a very chic party with Vogue + Armani at The Whitney to celebrate Armani’s new fragrance, and yesterday I flew to Charleston! It was also the first week since Cartagena where I felt on top of my sh*t again! My apartment has been a revolving door of friends + family… between that + the flu + launching our podcast, I’ve just felt very scattered! The best weeks for me are the weeks where I have a lot of time at my desk to sit and plan and work, and this was just that! But annnnyway, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend. Whatever you’re up to I hope it’s great! xoxo

This is the best chili I’ve ever tasted. My friend was staying at my apartment this week and he made it for me and it is SO GOOD! I can’t wait to make it.

I enjoyed the piece by Kat about blogging, I always find those kind of posts so interesting and I really can’t explain why! I’m not a blogger, but the issues of posting to social media, authenticity, etc., still seem so relevant for anyone who consumes blogs and social media, and produces it of their own. Thanks for sharing, and I’d love to see more links like that in the future!

Loved this roundup and spent a good hour drooling over all the picks and articles. Thank you for mentioning my lowbrow piece, too — you and Becca 100% inspired it, and I related so deeply to the comment you left! I’m still pissed off at that woman’s comment toward you. Yuck. xo
