Orange is supposed to be a summer color – but lately, I’ve been loving it anyway. Paired with winter’s neutrals (camel or cream) or denim, it’s unexpectedly elegant and chic. The Claire Vivier carry-all (bottom left) is on my wish list. It would also make for an (incredibly easy) DIY project. And I know you trust my judgment… but just in case you didn’t, Pantone did name Tangerine the “color of the year…“

It goes without saying, but stick to wearing one orange piece at a time. If orange doesn’t agree with your complexion, carry a bag, wear it on your feet, or go for the pants! I should also note that I am vehemently opposed to orange and black together… unless it’s Halloween.
