Fashion should be a lot of things, but above all, it should be fun! These ultra fun fluffy pom pom earrings from BaubleBar are just that. I love them so much. The pretty blush color goes with my entire wardrobe, and they are (expectedly) very light.
On my list for Spring is a little white bag with a gold chain strap. I think it’s so fresh and fun (just be careful to keep it clean!) This little one from Gucci is pretty fantastic. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet, but it’s definitely on the list as a top contender.
I have a bad habit of buying pretty design books and then never looking at them but the new Domino book is full of ALL of the home inspiration + practical advice. I am making a few changes and find myself constantly referring back to it.
I realize they are not for everyone, but these fluffy Sam Edelman sneakers are just so fun! I would pair mine with skinny jeans… or even a cute felt mini skirt. I love the oversized pom poms. They come in four colors and are relatively affordable, too!
Meet your new favorite everyday sweater. Isn’t it cute? I love the longer length and the cute little ties on the side. It comes in five colors (I also love the red and the emerald green) and would be so cute with jeans or faux leather leggings. So fun – and easy.
I joke that by Terry Baume de Rose is in my bloodstream at all times. I use it thaaaat much. It is hands down, my most treasured, favorite lip balm. It smells amazing and is ultra rich + luxe… chapped lips don’t stand a chance.. even in February!
I scooped up this linen mist at the most darling store up in Hudson Valley (the scent is Opus 1 – a mix of french lavender, black pepper and sandalwood) and am obsessed. I spray whenever I have company over and get so many questions about the fragrance!
I have a lot of fancypants shoes, but when I am going out for drinks or a date, I keep finding myself reaching for these $59 wedges. I wear them so much. They look great with jeans, are SO comfy, and always get a ton of compliments. La la love!
I love my ADAY Throw it Higher leggings so so much. Every brand claims to be designed for athleisure these days but my ADAY leggings are one of the only pairs I would actually wear to both the gym AND out. The zippers, the sleek pockets… they are so stylish!
BaubleBar’s Crispin Drops have become such a favorite of mine that I am basically trying to collect them all. They make a fun statement, and they are super lightweight. I’m particularly into the white right now… mod + chic, especially with a white top.
I can’t stop thinking about this small Chloe purse. It may be my next big splurge. The beige color is the perfect neutral shade. (It isn’t just beige… it’s “biscotti beige.”) It’s the perfect size. Chloe’s bags are just… completely and utterly amazingly drool-worthy.
This is my favorite sweater, possibly ever. I started with the cream colored one, and then had to buy it in black because I loved it so much! It’s so cozy… like draping yourself in an dreamy cloud of angora. I love that it’s longer in the back too – great with leggings!
I get so many compliments on my Juju Hat. It hangs over my desk, which is fitting as the Juju hat is a symbol of prosperity and divinity in Bamileke culture. (Birds are sacred to the Bamileke because of their power of flight – and ability to soar to the heavens.)
This is my favorite cleanser right now. I know my favorites come and go quickly but this one from Elemis is so hydrating, smells like the spa (hello eucalyptus oil), and takes off all my makeup. Massage it on and then remove with a hot wet towel. The ultimate.
Of all my jewelry, I reach for my Monica Vinader signature bangles the most right now. I have two (dainty + thick) and I love them stacked together. The silhouette is classic and timeless, and they add instant polish to any look.
I never would have guessed that this tote is only $65. It just looks so much more expensive than it is. Available in black, cognac, + oxblood, this is the perfect tote for schlepping around all of your work essentials – without worrying that you’ll mess it up.
I flipped when I saw this emerald green Maje dress. The green color is just perfection, and I love the dramatic sleeves. I’ve always believed in the mood-enhancing abilities of certain colors, and for me, vibrant green is top-notch.
It’s really incredible how powerful fragrance can be. A single whiff can trigger immediate memories of a favorite place or person in seconds. For me, Coqui Coqui Orange Blossom brings me back to Tulum. It smells so good + leaves me relaxed in minutes.
It’s such a small thing, but laying this wooden ladder against the wall near my couch has made such a difference for my small apartment. I am always cold, so I have a lot of throw blankets. This is the perfect (inexpensive) way to store + show them off.
These are truly the best leggings I have ever put on my body. First, they are made out of the softest brushed fabric ever. You may want to pet yourself. Second, the fit is spot on and they are nice and high-waisted. I love them more than I can put into words.
May Lindstrom’s The Honey Mud is the most decadent thing you can put on your face. The mud deep cleanses, the honey hydrates, and it smells so good you could eat it. (And you could if you want, it’s all natural). At $80, it isn’t cheap but it’s worth every penny.
My Day of the Dead Skull (from St. Frank, my fav!) is one of the pieces in my apartment that gets the most compliments. Isn’t it fun? I’ve always loved skulls (and blue + white for that matter) and I love the meaning behind the Day of the Dead.
These Cuyana travel cases are among my favorite possessions. When I am at home, they house my most treasured beauty products. While I am away, they are a little luxury that reminds me of home. I have the gold set, monogrammed of course.
If you are in the market for a great pair of pants (and you know how much I hate pants), I can’t say enough good things about J.Crew’s Pixie Pants. They’re sort of a hybrid between leggings + pants. Thick and flattering like pants, with the comfort of leggings.
The fountain of youth is probably not a real thing, but SK-II’s treatment essence comes pretty close. Pat on a few drops between cleansing and moisturizing (the bottle lasts forever) for Cate Blanchette-esque translucent beautiful skin. Thank me later.
If you are looking to add the perfect pop of color to your home, I love my sister’s Blooms Pillow. The multi-color palette goes with pretty much everything, and the colors are just so pretty. It reminds me of one of her watercolor paintings.
I have Dana Rebecca’s Lauren Joy Pendant and it’s one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. It’s so sparkly without being over the top. I bought it for my sister Becca for her 30th, and Meredith will get it when she turns 30 at the end of May. The best.
So I know this is probably one of the most impractical things I’ve ever featured, but I don’t even care. A unicorn balloon clutch? Hell yes. It’s part Jeff Koons, part art, and just magical. I want this SO much.
This is the best sweater ever. It comes in nine colors, and I have three of them (black, red, tan). You can wear it loose and pair it with jeans or leggings, but as it’s nice and thin, you can also tuck it into skirts or trousers. Did I mention it’s under $100?
Tracie Martyn’s enzyme exfoliant is worth every penny. I was suckered into buying it by the (amazing) saleswoman at ABC Home. I have to avoid her now. She applied it to one hand which became smooth with no redness. It’s even better on your face.
If you’re in need of some home inspiration (hand raised) I can’t say enough good things about my sister Becca’s book. She seamlessly shows you how to integrate more pattern into your home in a way that is easy and relatable. It’s helped me a lot!
I know I’m probably beating this horse to death… but every winter I reach for my Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask and just say a silent prayer that it exists. It is the best. My holy grail. Leaves skin firmer, glowy, and oh so smooth. J’adore.
If you don’t own a pair of Hart Hagerty’s silk tassel earrings, you are missing out. I now own four pairs… the most recent being this pair of vibrant emerald stunners. The quality is so great, the colors are amazeeee… + you guys can take $10 off with code THESTRIPE10!
When I spied this cashmere beanie (with a fun fur pom pom) from Buggy Designs, I immediately loved it. But really, the best part is that there’s a charitable component. For every hat sold, 20% of proceeds are donated to Planned Parenthood.
Every year I buy a pair of the BP Trolley booties from Nordstrom. I’ll wear them with jeans, black tights, everything… stomping around the city without a care. They’re comfy + cute, and under $100 so I don’t have to stress when they’re inevitably ruined by Spring.
These coconut oil makeup remover wipes are actually the ultimate in luxurious green beauty. They smell so good (like cake, to be exact), take off all of your makeup, and then leave skin deeply hydrated + glowy. One of my faves – I’m never without one, especially when traveling.
I really don’t know why but I am just so drawn to this bedazzled piggy bank! I am not letting myself buy it but someone please? So fun. If only I had a god daughter or niece to spoil, I would surely buy this for her. So much fun.
So, Kelly found this pair of shoes for a recent roundup and I immediately flipped out. Besides the blush, they also come in a beautiful tan color and black. They’re the perfect party shoe (I could see myself wearing them to all my holiday events) and under $100!
