Today’s DIY is inspired by a gorgeous bracelet that I spotted by Aurelie Bidermann. This one is so easy to make but such a pretty project… I love how it turned out!
P.S. Check out my other Aurelie Bidermann DIY… love this lace cuff, too!
Start by cutting 30 pieces of embroidery floss, each about 24-30″ long.
Form three piles of ten strands of embroidery floss. Take a separate piece of floss, and tie a knot. Wrap the floss around the top of the braid a few times, form a loop, and tie a knot.
Cut the top of your braid off. Slowly start braiding a nice fat, flat braid. Fan it out as you go to make it nice and thick!
Close off the braid by tying a knot and wrapping a piece of embroidery floss around the end of the braid 5-6 times. End it by forming a loop and wrapping the end through to tie a knot.
Apply glue to your bracelet and firmly press the braid down… carefully pressing and fanning the braid out as you work.
