Annnd, weekend. First of all – thank you so much for all of the kind words on yesterday afternoon’s post. I was really nervous to write it. I guess I worried that you would think less of me. But anyway, as I said yesterday this was my first week on the new schedule and it was really nice. I let myself take it easy this week and on Wednesday afternoon I actually “played hooky” and went to the MoMA and ice skating in Bryant Park. It was the most fun I’ve had in a while. This weekend I have a few workout classes, brunches, and a going away party. And then on Sunday, a fun Oscars party with ELLE Magazine. Oh and also, reading this book (can’t put it down so far) and making bacon jam with my slow cooker. I had it at The Wren this week and am determined to figure out how to make it myself.
A must read: some thoughts from Felicia on professional etiquette. I like to think my etiquette is pretty good, but reading this made me realize I still have a lot to learn. Bookmark this post!
Adored Chassity’s NYFW recap (and so happy I got to see her while she was in town!)
I love a good LWD, and this one is fantastic… love the pleats and the popover silhouette.
Did you see that Truffle’s beautiful pouches now come in tangerine? I’m digging the Hermes vibe.
Stripes on stripes, with a pop of Chanel: Loved this look on Blair.
Also loved this look on Sam… I want her sweatshirt!
The sweetest cut-out flats (in the prettiest shade of blush!)
Feeling stressed? This simple breathing technique will keep anxiety at bay.
You know how much I love my simple stacking rings. I love this sparkly set, and it’s a great deal (5 bands for $48.) Better yet, you can mix and match… sticking to classic gold or silver, or going for something more colorful.
How cool is this marbled paper DIY? I cannot wait to try it.
This might be the perfect sweater. Cozy cashmere stripes, in an extra long length.
Is this the perfect hair length?
Simple, sexy sandals… for under $100.
