If you were paying attention on Instagram last week, you might have seen that Thursday was National S’mores Day! I am a big fan of s’mores, camping (and glamping), and (let’s be honest) chocolate and gooey marshmallows in general as a food, so I was pretty excited when Edwards invited me to take over their instagram and host a glamping-themed S’mores Day Soiree at the W Hotel’s new (ultra chic) glamping suite.
You see, Edwards has the most delicious, new S’mores Crème Pie, making it the most scrumptious National S’mores Day treat! There was really no better way to celebrate the day than sitting atop a rooftop, in a yurt, eating pie, drinking wine, and making new friends… yum!
S’mores is so classic for summer, but I also love the other varieties of Edwards pie. S’mores Crème is my favorite, but Edwards Key Lime is a close second. They also make Chocolate Crème, Turtle and Pecan, among other delicious flavors. I have a few of the pies at home, which I have to admit are pretty addictive. They’re perfect for when you’re having friends over… just remove from the freezer, let ’em thaw for 30 minutes and serve! Throw in some cocktails or wine and you’ll have yourself the perfect get together.
