Kelly’s Chic Under $100: What to Wear to the Met

One of my favorite weekend activities is to wake up early to visit one of NYC’s incredible museums. I’m lucky enough to be a member at both the Met and the Whitney, but I live much closer to the Met so I like to walk there from the Upper West Side.. picking up sandwiches & juice at nearby Dean & Deluca to picnic with in Central Park.

Stripe Finds // Little discoveries you'll love

I definitely have this thing with silver mint julep cups right now. They’re sort of a pain as you have to polish them but so versatile. I use mine to serve cocktails, but I also love filling one or two with fresh flowers… they make for a really pretty vase.

These are possibly the cutest red flats I’ve ever seen. I love the slightly geometric cut of the shoe… and the red suede. They’d look great with short summer skirts, cropped jeans, or a pair of gingham shorts. Or a nautical tee – très francais!

Not only is the Valley of the Dolls 50th Anniversary Edition a beautiful addition to your #shelfie game (hello, pink edges!) it’s also an absolute classic. I’ve been really enjoying re-reading this one. You won’t be able to put it down!

Kendra Scott’s summer collection is really pretty and simple. I love this choker necklace as it provides a hit of sparkle without being overpowering. Also: a lot of her necklaces have a fun adjustable closure, allowing you to wear it long or short.
