Weekend Reading.

Oh hai. Happy Weekend. What a week! I had one of those weeks that was so much fun that I couldn’t actually believe it was my life. A dinner with Tori Praver at Claudette, a fun dinner at the Tasting Table test kitchen, seeing Chicago (the musical) live for the first time, a slew of cool meetings, and a party at a super cool art gallery last night.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope you all are enjoying the weekend. I’ve spent my Saturday cleaning and catching up on TV. Very glamorous. This week was a bit of a blur… our flight home from Charleston was delayed, so my week was a little bit compressed. That said, it wasn’t all that bad being “stuck” there another day…

Greetings from Charleston! I’m down for a long weekend and all I can say is that I could totally move here. I fell in love with the city during my October trip, and so my sister Becca and I planned a long weekend away with my mom as her sixtieth birthday present. So far we’ve had a lot to eat and seen a lot more of the city. I just love it here, so so much…

Weekend Reading.

This week was an interesting one. I was still pretty sick for the beginning of the week, so the snow day was pretty welcome for me… getting to work from home in my sweatpants on Tuesday definitely helped to speed up my recovery. The actual snow storm was a bit of a disappointment, though… not quite the blizzard we were all expecting + preparing for!

This was a bit of a crazy week, but in the best sense of the word. Thursday night was the party for the new site (photos are online here but will also be in tomorrow’s post!) and my family came to town for it, which was so nice. I’m actually a little bit sick (probably a little run down.) I woke up on Wednesday morning with a sore throat and by Friday it was a full blown cold. The worst. I’m hoping to kick it with lots of sleep, ginger fireballs…
