Weekend Reading.

happy weekend! I’ve presently got Cape Cod on the brain as my whole family goes home for a week this coming Tuesday! I’m laying really low this weekend as I was sick this week. I think my immune system is just a bit rundown from all of the travel + festivities I’ve had lately. Yesterday was spent catching up on work (from the couch, while watching Gossip Girl reruns) and I’m planning on more of the same today and tomorrow. If I’m going to be able to run around with my little nephew all week, I need to be in tip top form! Whatever you’re up to this weekend I hope it’s fab – enjoy this beautiful summer weather!!!

Were you born between 1977-1983? Me too! Finally a name for our generation.

I saw this little Rebecca Taylor dress earlier this week in person and it’s just the sweetest!

Life after Vogue. Who else read Lucinda Chambers’ (very juicy) piece for Vestoj? It was alllll over all my feeds this week and I really loved it.

How to sell a billion-dollar myth like a French girl. I loved this. It’s a must-read if you (like me) tend to click on anything that will tell you how to look/dress/be more like a French girl.

Esprit is back! How pretty are these lace-up espadrilles?

Ugh – totally agree with Alden’s thoughts on mineral sunscreen.

The perfect cat eye sunnies… in four cute colors!

Loving these no heat summer hairstyles.

The best lower-ab exercises… and why you need to do ’em!

How gorgeous is this nude off the shoulder dress? It would be perfect with a tan.

These grilled pizzas sound so yummy!

Currently crushing on this candy stripe maxi dress.

Loved Mackenzie’s Nantucket update – and her gingham dress!

Everything you could ever want to know about your pores… and how to keep ’em clean.

This cotton eyelet jumpsuit just went on sale and it’s so cute!

How to get rid of undereye circles.

These slides are so cute – can’t decide which ones I like better – the two tone blush or the blue and white stripes?

Yum! I want to make these rosé popsicles.

Blair has the best travel style.

The cutest little gingham dress.

Love this casual look on Kat.

The side ties on this sleeveless sweater make it so chic.

Pork tacos with grilled peaches – YUM.

Why not try leaving your phone home this weekend?

Adore this tie-front midi dress.. it looks like a Zimmermann one from last season.

Meghan looks so pretty in this jersey midi dress.

Love this cute little mini skirt.. it’ll be perfect with so many of my summer basics!

I’m the generation between on the cusp of baby boomer and generation x and I think it gives me an advantage. As a concierge I’m constantly online, but I use my personal experience just as much. Older folks try to do everything old school and millenials try to do everything online. We can’t ignore technology, but there is also too much misinformation on the web. Neither is a perfect solution. If you combine the two, you have a win!
