  5. Such a great spin on those adjustable bracelets they always had at the arcade at the beach — you know, the neon-colored ones that you’d wear into the ground in elementary school summers — the leather’s the perfect way to make that look more mature!

    Great project! I love the juxtaposition of the slick climbing rope with the earthy suede lace. And great find for the cap-hook…why are such necessary heavy-duty accessory-finishing items so hard to find at retail stores? Etsy to the rescue, as always!:-)

    Hi..I looked for the end cap with a hook on Etsy, but couldn’t find it. All the end caps and hooks show two pieces, but you used just a once piece hook, right? Thanks for any help on this.

      I found the same end cap except silver at a store called Ben Franklin, maybe you could call and order, maybe even paint to make the copper color.
